HYDERABAD: Cine actor Chiranjeevi was evasive when the newsmen asked about his plans to start a new political party. The media caught him when for the first time he arrived at a polling booth along with his family members to vote in the byelections from Jubilee Hills polling booth.

He simply said with a smily face that his brother-in-law Allu Aravind may knows when they will catch the train. However in the morning his brother Pawan Kalyan said that at the polling booth at that he would caste his next vote to his brother’s yet-to-be-launching party giving indications that the party will come up soon.

Chiranjeevi, who had come to the polling booth along with his actor-son Charan Teja and wife Surekha told reporters that he had exercised his franchise as it was the responsibility of every citizen to elect the rule of his/her choice.

Asked when their ‘political train’ would arrive, Chiranjeevi evaded giving a direct reply saying: “Allu Aravind (his brother-in-law) spoke about something like that, didn’t he?”
As if to herald his entry into politics in the next fortnight, Chiranjeevi and his entire clan went out to cast their franchise in the Jubilee Hills on Thursday morning. The family had never quite participated in the voting process in the past, at least not openly.
