Yuvraj singh made 118 against England
Hero honda Series: India Won the 2nd One day International Match against England
Indore: Yuvraj Singh hammered England’s attack for his second successive century as India overcame a top-order slump to reach 292 for nine Monday in the second limited-overs international.
Overcoming serious back pain to play in the match, Yuvraj scored 118 from 122 deliveries and shared an innings-reviving partnership of 124 runs with Gautam Gambhir (70) that helped lift India to a challenging total as it aims to increase its lead in the seven-match series.
India 292 for 9 (Gambhir 70, Yuvraj 118, Pathan 50*, Broad 4-55) beat England 238 (Shah 58, Flintoff 43, Yuvraj 4-28) by 54 runs. India win by 54 runs to go 2-0 up in the seven match ODI series.
