John Abraham To Make Film On Tigers


Not many know that Bollywood actor John Abraham is an animal rights enthusiast and is closely associated with the NGO People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). Recently, the actor agreed producing a film themed on tigers with the prominent environmentalist and filmmaker Mike Pandey. Talking about this project, Mike Pandey revealed that John Abraham does a lot for elephants, tigers, monkeys and stray dogs. Sharing common interests made both decide to come together and make a film on tigers, said Pandey.

This film on Tigers will be more of a docu-drama and will be produced under the actor’s newly launched banner, John Abraham Entertainment. Moreover, it would take near about two and a half years to complete. The film will feature four tiger cubs, said Abraham. Explaining somewhat more, he added that the film will revolve about three tiger cubs and how their mother helps them to grow. John Abraham was all praise for environmentalist Mike Pandey.

‘Mike has been the one person responsible for consolidating and motivating a lot of people towards wildlife conservation,’ said John Abraham. The Bollywood actor, who has worked in movies such as Water, Jism, Dhoom, etc. has been awarded with an EcoWarrior award for his work towards creating India’s first elephant village in Maharashtra. The actor said he hopes that this film does a lot for tiger conservation in India. He also remarked that he wanted the film to be like The Lion King for all the children who would be watching it.
