is known to be taking keen interest in the film Haal e Dil. After all, the film marks the debut of his close friend and once upon a time business manager, Kumar Mangat’s daughter Amita Pathak. It may be recalled that Ajay was even involved during the auditions in finding the right male lead opposite Amita. After auditioning many guys, the talented duo of Nakuul Mehta and Adhyayan Suman were zeroed in opposite Amita.

As Haal e Dil gears up for release later this month, Ajay and wife Kajol shot a special song for the film. The song called ‘Oye Hoye’ seems like a typical Punjabi number and has Kajol dressed in a beautiful maroon salwar kameez. The song, composed by Anand Raj Anand and shot at the Filmistan studios in Mumbai, also features the film’s lead pair Nakuul Mehta and Amita Pathak dancing along with Ajay and Kajol. When we asked Mangat whether the couple is a surprise package in the film he said, “No, Ajay and Kajol will shake their legs only for this new song, they are not playing any role as such.”However he did get us a bit more insight by saying, “I always wanted Ajay and Kajol to be a part of HAAL E DIL. Right from day one they have supported me. They even said, we are like family and whatever help I call for they will lend it. In fact Ajayji took care right from pre production stage of the film right from music, casting, etc.”

We asked Kumarji about Amita’s experience with Kajol to which he replied, “It was extremely good. She enjoyed working with her a lot. She was quite comfortable sharing screen space with the star couple and Kajol and Ajay both made Amita feel at ease. They always gave a familial gesture to Amita”, concluded Mangat.

It seems, with the added zing, Kumar Mangat’s dream project is only getting better!
