A man who is ruling many females heart is the latest entrant in B town, Rajeev Khandelwal who along with taking in all the female adulation, is also basking in rave reviews that he has been receiving for his performance in his debut film, Aamir. The film, which opened last week, has received unanimous praise from critics and audiences alike, a remarkable feat in today’s times. However, not one to rest on his past laurels, Rajeev has already signed his second film with UTV Spotboy, the same production house that produced Aamir. This time Rajeev will switch genres and take on a romantic comedy directed by India based British filmmaker John Owen. The love story set in Goa, is titled ‘Peter Gaya Kaam’ Se and will see Rajeev playing the role of Peter, taxi bike driver. These are people who drive tourists on their bikes in and around Goa and it is quite a common sight to see them throughout Goa. The film will obviously be shot in Goa and will begin right after the monsoons sometime in September. Finally audiences will get to see a female lead opposite Rajeev, unlike his debut Aamir and although the actor for the role is yet to be finalized, most likely UTV Spotboy will opt for a newcomer. Too bad, we are sure a lot of fans were hoping to see Rajeev paired opposite “good friend” Amna Shariff on the big screen. Guess we will all have to wait a little longer.
