AIEEE 2008 Results on or before June 7th

Hey AIEEE Aspirants! The results of AIEEE 2008 are expected to be declared on or before 7th June, 2008.The score card will be dispatched to the candidates from 12.06.2008 to 28.06.2008 under Certificate of UPC. The Board will not be responsible for any consequences that may arise due to loss of score card in transit. In case of non-receipt of the score card within the stipulated period candidate may apply for duplicate score card on payment of Rs. 50/- (plus postal charges of Rs. 30/- for outstation candidates) in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Secretary, CBSE, payable at Delhi/New Delhi between 09.07.2008 to 30.08.2008. No request for issue of duplicate score card will be entertained thereafter.As per the notified cut off score and the candidates declared eligible up to the notified Rank shall be called to appear for Counselling.In case of two or more candidates obtaining equal marks, inter-sem merit of such candidates shall be determined as follows:B.E/B.Tech – By marks obtained in Mathematics and then in Physics in the AIEEE and then by age (preference to older candidates).B.Arch/B.Planning – By marks obtained in Aptitude Test and then in Mathematics in the AIEEE and then by age (preference to older candidates).

AIEEE 2008 Results Key and Solutions

The All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) was held all across the country today, ie. the 27th April 2008. Get the solutions to AIEEE 2008 from all the leading coaching institutes right here on this website.

AIEEE 2008 consisted of 105 questions of 3 marks each – 35 questions each in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to be answered in 3 hours. Among the several versions of the question papers, the order of the options was also jumbled. The overriding emotion that ruled the majority of the students coming out of the examination venues at 12:30 pm was one that of content and satisfaction. AIEEE 2008 did not burn the psyche of a well-prepared student. Most of the students felt that the paper was a well-balanced one with a good mixture of questions of various difficulty levels. There were two sets of cluster (paragraph) questions in Physics – a new avatar in AIEEE examination. The two sets of paragraph questions had three and two questions respectively. Assertion-Reasoning Type Questions appeared in the Physics and Mathematics sections. Among the three subjects, the Chemistry was relatively the easiest. Though there were several “thought provoking questions” whose time-investment per question was almost double the average. Well prepared students enjoyed the challenge, though and came out performing very well in this subject.

Then consider the fact that the number of questions was less that of AIEEE 2007. And then consider the fact that the number of students appearing for this examination has seen an increase over the pervious year..
