One really needs guts to make a remake of a classic like Maro Charitra, but enthused by his success-run in the last few years and a desire to make an entry into Tamil films producer Dil Raju is planning a remake of the film in Tamil and Telugu.

The bilingual has Varun Sandesh as the hero and Anitha, a new comer, as the heroine, the film is directed by Ravi Yadav a Bollyowood technician who would also be debuting through this film as a director.

This is indeed a bold move from the producer as expectations are likely to be high and its definitely not easy to emulate and recreate a Balchander movie, moreover the issues dealt in that movie so many years ago are no more relevant now, Let us see how this movie shapes up!!
