British Foreign Secretary arrives in India

New Delhi, Jan 13 (ANI): British Foreign Secretary David Miliband arrived here on a three-day visit today to express solidarity with India over the Mumbai terror attacks.

During his visit, Miliband will meet External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee, Home Minister P Chidambaram. He is also expected to call on Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh.

He is also scheduled to hold talks with a group of young Parliamentarians on climate change and security issues.

Miliband will also visit Mumbai where he will address meetings at the Hotel Taj Mahal and Hotel Trident, sites of the Mumbai terror attacks.

Last month, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, who visited Delhi, categorically singled out the Pakistan-based militant group Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) as being responsible for the terror attacks in Mumbai that claimed 179 lives and injured over 300. (ANI)
