Jalsa Movie Review: Jalsa Movie starts off with “Special thanks to Mahesh Babu” which has got a awesome response in the theater. The theater is jampacked and the crowds are uncontrollable. Mahesh introduces Pawan Kalyan saying

“Yuddam lo gelavatam ante sathruvuni champatam kadhu..sethruvu ni oodinchina vaade nijamaina yodhudu… alanti naa snehithudu sanjay sahu….”

యుద్దము లొ గెలవటము అన్టె శత్రువుని చమ్పటమ్ కాదు… శత్రువు ని ఒడిన్చిన వాడె నిజమైన యొదుడు… అలన్టీ నా స్నెహితుడు సన్జయ్ సహు….”-

Pawan Kalyan’s falshback is also introduced by Mahesh. The Introduction fight is excellently ts are composed by Vijayan. In the flashback Pawan Kalyan is betrayed by Prakashraj who plays Kamalinee Mukharjee’s father.

Pawan Kalyan and Kamalinee decides to marry but Prakashraj gets her married to someother person. Dipressed with his lost love Pawan Kalyan in the present will be drinking everynight. Illeana is introduced and the 1st song oy the Movie You n I has song just now started.so far the main saving grace is Comedy and Pawan Kalyan action.

Parvathi Melton and Illeana are good friends and both of them go gaga over Pawan Kalyan. Parvathi Melton expresses her love while Illeana stays clam. Pawan rejects her love. Sunil plays a role where predicts what happens 10 minutes later and the comedy is good. Illeana meets Pawan Kalyan and the scenes between them are good. Mukesh Rushi plays the role of a Mafia Don. All the characters till now are introduced by Mahesh. The 2nd song My Heart is Beating.. is song is picturised well. It shows the love budding between Pawan Kalyan and Illeana. Mukesh rushi is caught by the police. He is surprised when he comes accross Pawan Kalyan on his way to the jail. He gets his proteges to investigate his where abouts and asks them to kill him. But due to unkown reasons the whole plan is dropped in the last minute. The movie seems to have slowed down a little bit after the 2nd song.

The love scenes between Pawan Kalyan and Illeana are good. Illeana gets impressed by the deeds of the Hero. She expresses her love and the 3rd song Gaalo thelinattundhe has started ,the song has been shot indoor and the picturisation is good .Ali plays Pawan Kalyan’s friend. He gets kidnapped and killed by Mukesh rushi gang. Pawan Kalyan then reveals his identity to his other friends(1st half is over)

2nd half:

Pawan Kalyan comes from a poor family (Gorella kaparlu) and lives in a small remote village. Pawan got influenced with Naxalism during childhood and joins the Naxal moment (Orissa Srikakulam border background) after he lost his parents.
After some period, Pawan got vexed with Naxal strategies and their violent acts

Prakashraj plays the Police officer and comes to the forrest.

4th song Chalore…Chalore….

Pawan Kalyan meets Prakash raj for the 1st time here. He escapes from the police and in the chase they kidnap Prakashraj and take him into the Jungle. After a series of socialistic scenes Pawan Kalyan decides to get out of the naxalites. Brahmanandham plays the role of a Head Constable. His intro which is a spoof of Mahesh’s Police Intro in Pokiri is hillarous and has got the maximum response from the fans. Illeana gets upset with Pawan Kalyan for hiding his flashback. Pawan Kalyan tries to convience her and the 5th song Jennifer Lopez…. . The song picturization is good. After the song the lead pair sort out the differences. The villans enter and try to kill Pawan Kalyan.

Now comes the CLIMAX. with Mani Ratnam’s ROJA touch Naxalites kidnaps Ileana . Then Pawan jumps into the mission. He masks as Naxalite and go into the jungle since he know the jungle very well. He mesmerizes the Naxalites with his Talk/Walk/Look and releases Ileana from the Naxalites.

Comedy in the second half particularly Brahmanandam’s comedy is excellant.scenes between pawan and brahmanandam are good

Megafans enjoyed the songs and roared in the theatre.

First half of the film is good and second half is ok. Megafans are overjoyed with the excellent performance of Pawan Kalyan. All songs and fights are just good on the screen. No hardcore steps of pawan but all songs had a stylish taking. even fights is a let down here. Not great as we expected. Heroines are very glamorous in the film. but some times had over makeup. The trademark Trivikram punching dialogues uttered by Pawan got outstanding response from audience. Mahesh’s voice over is also a major plus as it will drag lot of people and it helps moive a lot. Director succeeded in visualizing flashback episode in an effective way.
