Gay culture is speedily growing in India and Hyderabad also is in the top list. But still the culture is not being accepted by maximum people and is being ridiculed in movies too.

Pourudu got such scenes and Sumanth who is happy with the result of Pourudu is not so pleased with gay comedy scenes. He says “I have many gay friends and such comedy is derogatory to such people”. I will see that such scenes are not repeated in my future films, Sumanth added.

He claims that Pourudu collected double to its investment and said that publicity helped the film to do good business at box office. He is also planning to do one film on his own banner every year.
